Kickstart your career in supply chain and warehousing with an exciting Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship at Podium Pet Products.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing e-commerce and distribution business while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will learn all aspects of warehouse operations, stock control and order fulfilment, whilst earning a salary and developing valuable long-term career skills.

As a Warehouse Operative Apprentice, you will learn and support the team with:

• Picking, packing and dispatching B2B and B2C orders of varying sizes

• Processing and coordinating orders using computer systems and platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and SPS

• Receiving, inspecting and booking in incoming goods

• Stock control, inventory tracking and forecasting using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Boxing, labelling and shelving products accurately

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

• Supporting general warehouse operations as required

You will complete the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship, delivered by High Ridge Training.

• Around 80% on-the-job training, learning alongside experienced colleagues

• At least 20% off-the-job learning, including online learning, workshops and assignments

• Functional Skills in English and Maths will be included if required

Future Opportunities

Podium Pet Products is a growing business. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be the opportunity for a full-time role, pay review and progression within the company.

£18,000 per year (£8.65 per hour)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
(Occasional event work may be required outside these hours)
Contract: Fixed-term apprenticeship – 12 months
Start Date: Wednesday 14 January 2026
