Salary: £17,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with 15-minute break in morning, 30-minute break at lunch, and 15-minute break in the afternoon (40 hours a week).

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Engineering Operative Apprentice to join our manufacturing team producing high-quality LED lighting products. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical engineering skills, industry experience, and a recognised Level 2 qualification in a modern manufacturing environment. You will work closely with experienced colleagues while developing knowledge in production, quality control, and health & safety.

Assist in the assembly and manufacture of LED lighting products and components
Operate basic production machinery and hand tools under supervision
Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks
Support electrical and mechanical assembly tasks
Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Comply with health & safety procedures and company policies
Assist with packaging, labelling, and dispatch preparation
Work collaboratively to meet production targets
Attend training sessions and complete coursework

You will complete the Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship delivered by High Ridge Training.
At least 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to structured learning, combining on-the-job experience with formal training. This will help you develop core engineering skills, manufacturing knowledge, and industry-recognised qualifications.
