  • We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Engineering Operative Apprentice to join our manufacturing team producing high-quality LED lighting products. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical engineering skills, industry experience, and a recognised Level 2 qualification in a modern manufacturing environment. You will work closely with experienced colleagues while developing knowledge in production, quality control, and health & safety.

    • Assist in the assembly and manufacture of LED lighting products and components

    • Operate basic production machinery and hand tools under supervision

    • Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks

    • Support electrical and mechanical assembly tasks

    • Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules

    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

    • Comply with health & safety procedures and company policies

    • Assist with packaging, labelling, and dispatch preparation

    • Work collaboratively to meet production targets

    • Attend training sessions and complete coursework

  • You will complete the Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship delivered by High Ridge Training.

    At least 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to structured learning, combining on-the-job experience with formal training. This will help you develop core engineering skills, manufacturing knowledge, and industry-recognised qualifications.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing e-commerce and distribution business while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.   • As a Warehouse Operative Apprentice, you will learn and support the team with:

    • Picking, packing and dispatching B2B and B2C orders of varying sizes

    • Processing and coordinating orders using computer systems and platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and SPS

    • Receiving, inspecting and booking in incoming goods

    • Stock control, inventory tracking and forecasting using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
